One of our go to local spots for a casual dinner and a beer. The food is tasty and the beer selection is good. The service is very friendly and fast. The space is quite large and has different semi isolated seating areas to meet many needs. There's an outdoor space, the bar with plenty of TV's to watch your favorite Bay Area sports teams and a more "formal" dining area with a nice view of the man made lake/ fountain outside. The giant pretzel is one of our favorites. Will be back for Happy Hour.

This restaurant used to be Faultline Brewing company and now is Laughing Monkey Brewing. It is my first time here. Great for large groups. I see many parties of six or more at the restaurant. It is Tuesday night today and the place is still very packed! The restaurant is very spacious. I tried the calamari, nachos, and pretzels appetizers; all were really good. My entree was gumbo, it was good too. I saw many people ordered pizza and that looked delicious too. I would come back to try the pizza next time! Overall, the restaurant is spacious to accommodate large and private parties. Service was ok as our waiter was very busy, had to flag him down to get service. But once he got our attention, he was right on it.

great after work happy hour spot, you will see majority is all techies lol HH is from Monday to Friday 4-6PM: $2 off apps and $2 off pints/ wine/ well cocktails Also daily specials! Good and extensive beer menu! CHEESE CURDS ARE DELICIOUS !!! Huge restaurant -- lots of space and seating, both inside and outside. I really like their outside patio too, views of a small pond (includes visiting ducks, they are a bit aggressive pls dont feed them!)

We came here on the weekend to watch football and eat. It was very clean inside. The service was quick. We came and it was empty, but when the games were starting the bar/tables around the bar were filled almost immediately. The food was good! I liked the pizza. Everyone who was drinking in our group enjoyed the drinks.

They serve huge portions! I was there for happy hour and appetizers were $2 off. I tried the nachos with steak. I think they were like $20. I'm envisioning a taco bell grande size dish. Wholly Molly was i wrong! It literally was a pile as tall as my pint glass! The steak was diced, but the flavor was great. I took home 2/3rds and had more the next day. Not as good as chips were soggy. I also had their amber beer. Similar to Jeramiah Red at BJ. Lots of flavor. I will come back with my friends.

First time at Laughing Monk Brewing. I went on a Monday night with a few friends. We were able to get a table right away. The view of the water is amazing. There was not a lot of parking. We ordered a few beers and the pizza. The pizza wasn't special, but the beers were on point. Service was good. I'd come again. Restrooms are clean.

I usually get seated right away and I love sitting on their outdoor patio with my dog. Super spacious and comfortable with a nice view of the neighboring water. The food usually comes out in a timely manner and they have a good selection of daily deals. I usually like getting their personal specialty pizzas.

We came on a thursday night for happy hour! This is definitely one of my favorite happy hours in the bay - $6 pints and $2 off apps. The place was pretty packed after 6, mostly corporate workers. Despite it being a full house, our servers were attentive and checked on us often. Appetizers and all the beers we tried were great. I also like that it's next to a lake so the view is nice looking outside.

Ambiance: 4 of 5 (by the pond) Service: 3.5 of 5 (standard) Food: 4 of 5 (burger) Price: 3.5 of 5 I just went to Laughing Monk for lunch today with my colleague as we'd like to try something new for lunch. The weather today is perfect for sitting outside, still not chilly to enjoy a draft beer. We plan to come back for team happy hour next time. Highly recommended for friends and team building.
